What Is Bellini?
Bellini is a classic Italian champagne cocktail, originally made in Venice with two parts prosecco and one part white peach puree with a hint of raspberry or cherry juice. Today, Bellinis are made with many different variations, mainly because white peaches aren’t always available. You can buy bottled peach puree from the store for the cocktail, or even make your own puree from canned fruit at home.
The Bellini is a light and delicate drink that pairs well with almost anything, as it works as a brunch drink or as a cocktail served at a dinner party. While Bellini can be made with any champagne, it is recommended to use prosecco for the best taste. Prosecco Cocktail Recipes
In addition to Bellini, Prosecco cocktails are also a great choice to drink for a romantic dinner with your loved one. Many people think that champagne and prosecco are the same drink, but prosecco is actually sparkling wine. The difference is that champagne is made from different grapes and must be made by refermenting the wine in the bottle to get its bubbles, while Prosecco is typically made by refermenting wine in steel tanks.
If you love a gin and tonic, this recipe for a “Pink and Tonic” may be the perfect cocktail for you! Pour 50 ml of Gordon’s Pink Gin into a large wine glass filled with ice, then add 50 ml of lemonade and 25 ml of prosecco for a refreshing drink.
For a fruity cocktail, add 12 ounces of frozen raspberries to a large glass pitcher, top with two cups of chilled peach nectar and one bottle of prosecco. Fill the rest of the pitcher with ice cubes, and enjoy the delicious combination of raspberry and peach!
